Students didn't get in free because it was an NCAA event.
But...Les Miles, Trent Johnson and Paul Mainieri donated $1,000 each to fund free tickets for LSU students.
Mighty nice of those guys.

Its essentially the same thing that forced you to pay to see a high school playoff game at your school when otherwise you would get in with a student id. Its to keep the competitive advantage of having a playoff game on campus from being so overwhelming. Kind of stupid, but that's why.

But I give you props for not asken for an autograph. They get tired of that.
And how the hell did they not know where to get tickets??? They have all gone there for 4, temple 5 years. And it says ticket window or whatever where you buy them.
