Why would he want come back here. As I recall he basically got run out of town by the same group of so called fans wanting miles to go now. Same thing was said then. Offense sucks. Predictable bla bla bla. Same spew different year. Why would he come back here so you guys could bitch wine and moan about how he's not good enough....

He went to FSU because he was the head coach in waiting there. I think I remember he almost left because it took Bowden so long to retire.
That said, the reason I think he wouldn't want to come here is that he already has everything he needs to succeed at FSU

Oh I am dead on. After about 3 or 4 years someone's head needs to be had. At that time it was jimbos. Love lsu but some of you guys are poison.

I don't remember anybody ever saying that. But I do remember him coaching Matt Mauck, Josh Booty, and Rohan Davey well enough to cause them to play out of their minds. And he made Marcus Randall a serviceable qb on this team, which is an enormous feat.
I remember him maximizing playmakers like Josh Reed, Devery Henderson, and Michael Clayton. I also remember being able to run the football on pretty much every team we played.
So I hope he's our next coach.

This is an absolute lie. It's not true. You can say it over and over you can put it in caps and scream it. It's still not true.
Were there some keyboard warriors who complained about play calling and the over use of the bubble screen? Sure. No coach is above criticism.
But the vast vast majority of fans and posters were and remain Jimbo fans.

I watched the repeated threads here about how he had to go. He was the problem according to the fans here. He was shown the door Same fever that i see about how miles has to go. Such a short memory you guys have.

Know what I saw It was all over this board. Can't get posts from that time or else I would. I read this board every day and at the time I was scratching my head wondering why people were throwing him under the bus. He left and everyone was happy err for a couple years then off with the head.

Maybe that's why everybody wants him back. He got better, unlike Miles. Miles has regressed for the last 4 years.

I said in my post there were some who complained about playcalling.
That's part of the job. Plays that work are great the ones that don't the OC is stupid. That is every OC since the Internet was invented.
And there were jokes about bubble screens.
But again that's par for the course.
But there was no outcry to remove him. In fact when Les was brought in he was damn near strong armed that he had to keep Jimbo.
You are taking totally out context and over playing a handful of posters who posted the same thing 20 times and equating it to LSU fans wanting him gone.
