I said we dont have the money to keep up. I got downvoted to shreds as I will now. I was told we had the best recruiting class in 2025 and it is far from over. Its sad but true. College football as we knew it was over. We were kings from 2000-2019. Ill always cherish it. Teams like Texas and Michigan will reign supreme. It will be funny watching schools like Alabama try to keep up. They will spend everything in the state to stay relevant. What a ride boys. Hold your head high. Our small state put out some teams and some athletes that will make anyone proud. We ran shite. Sure Alabama had more titles but we had style. We had straight up dawgs who are world famous. Alabama put out a bunch of generic Saban Shills. The ride ended in 2019 we just didn’t know it.

This post sums it up perfectly. There’s a salary cap in the NFL to help small market teams compete. No such luck in college, LSU getting left behind.
