No...some fans will not be happy until/unless we lose every game and every coach is fired and all the players are shamed..because then they can be right, because they know. Winning the NC would make them look wrong, and of course, they are right, so LSU must lose so the world can honor their wisdom.

Yes, this is the prerequisite for attending LSU and donating to TAF. Think it's in the mission statement.

Being right > LSU.

How much have you donated to TAF, friend? And maybe you went to LSU with me, what year did you graduate?

Archer had something Miles has never had: A one loss season.
And he had a tie that season, so that compares to 2007 when Miles never lost in regulation.

Archer never won more than 10 games. Miles won more than 10 games in 3 of his 5 seasons.

Half of Archer's seasons were losing seasons. Miles has never had a losing season.

Archer never refilled the cupboard. Miles' recruiting seems to be getting better and better.

He did with OSU. We'll see how the next few seasons unfold here, but it's looking more likely.

Certainly no one thought bad things about Archer after 10-1-1.

If you say so.

His first year and not thereafter. And, OSU is irrelevant. This is LSU.

Miles will not have a losing season in the next few seasons.

Do you honestly see significant problems with 2010 and the 2011 classes?

Still a losing season and Archer only was HC at LSU. Unfair to include Miles record at LSU only.

This we will see. I hope not.

Wasn't really your contention. Have the classes gotten better? I think that was your point. The subjective rankings per signing class are certainly less meaningful than the actual fruition of said classes, wouldn't you agree?

I think for the most part you suck and I pretty much disagree with everything you type.

However I could not agree with you more on this paticular post.

Well crap. I thought I had a pretty good OP, but now I'll have to go back and rethink the whole thing.

I think he just won an award for it.

Man I wish there was an opposite award in that category.... I have nominees!

Give Derrick Dooley Les Miles 2009 Tigers and give Miles 2009 LA Tech. How do you think the game comes out?
FIRST DOWNS....... LA Tech 23 LSU 15
Possession Time....LA Tech 36:20 LSU 23:40
Pretty shocking statistics. Do you really think LSU's talent level was that bad? Les is going to get his shot to finish 2nd in the West again. Next you will be telling us Les is a better coach than Saban and Meyer.

What is your trick to narrow it down?

What narrowing! This is the rant - everyone one is a winner!

Occasionally we might get some tidbits and nuggets of wisdom but by and large we are blissful ignoRantards.

A trap game after Bama with LSU having 4 O starters out.

That game says/proves squat, but carry on with the doom and gloom fest.

Wow. We've actually reached the point where people are seriously discussing the relative merits of Archer's record and Miles' record.

One thing about The Rant. It never ceases to amuse. Excellent as a source of free entertainment

A sad and whiny excuse. You can use weasel words all you want to defend poor performances, but LSU should have crushed La Tech with it's 3rd string, and with Tech having 4 of it's best players not even playing. That is a product of poor coaching, poor motivation, and poor game planning. You can't spin that.

No, we just want a better team. It's really not that difficult to understand.
