I would hope so, but I feel like this has been glossed over. I don’t see a new AD retaining Wade, as much as I hate it. As a new AD they want to make a ‘statement’ that they will be good at what they do and feel the self-righteous attitude of ‘wanting to do things the right way’. I feel like even if Wade is found innocent, he has a scarlet letter regardless who is the AD and that sickens me, because this is all on Alleva and King.

Not necessarily. If an interim was brought in who knows LSU, like Bertman or someone similar, they might be willing to retain Wade until the hubbub blew over.

Years ago, I might have felt differently, but I've seen too many teams in various sports get preferential treatment by the NCAA. And greater still, I've seen political figures get preferential treatment, while others who have committed lesser deeds were jailed or fined.
I'm tired of my guy or my side getting unequal treatment and being told I should be ashamed for my sides transgressions or unproven ones.

And don't try and guilt trip my with some moral speech about cheating. I don't care.

Well, there it is. That's the attitude that is running me off from college sports, fans no longer care if their team cheats.

frick that.

Cheating is NOT winning.

Why should I? First off, who is the NCAA? A made up board of very selective, hypocritical members.
Why should I care when other schools who do the same type activities are given a complete pass?
Why should I care when the entire world is basically corrupted and favoritism and nepotism take precedence over everything?
Are you insinuating that LSU is the only team to cheat and that the paying field is level? Or are you saying that LSU can compete for the services of a highly ranked player who is being offered money from other top schools, without also offering something?

It's not cheating if everyone is doing it

Many of us feel that way and have been pretty open about it. We love Wade because he wins. We hate King and Alleva because it looks like they don’t like when we win.

At the end of the day, putting a winner on the field is all that matters. The next mediocre football season will probably be the end of Alleva. I don’t know when that will happen. Maybe 2020?
