How he got the job at LSU after what he did with the Duke lacrosse thing is beyond me.

Joe Alleva has done some good things.
However, he’s had some MAJOR missteps...Miles/Arky/contract, Miles firing fiasco, 2 basketball hire failures, Florida hurricane PR nightmare, Herman situation, Orgeron hire
He may love LSU, but at the end of the day he has lost the support of the fans. Therefore, whether you agree or disagree with his dismissal, the fact remains that he doesn’t have the mandate or the power to move LSU athletics forward anymore. His tenure is over. Not sure what day will officially be his last, but he is effectively a lame duck AD right now.
