I know the referees were laughing hard after the game.....

"After the play, unsportsmanlike conduct #11 of the defense, throwing an LSU players shoe twenty yards down the field". #11 was like nah boss that was #3.
I think he wanted to laugh as he was saying it.

It took them a few seconds to even throw the flags. They probably saw it happen and then looked at each other like "Did that dumbass really just do that or am I seeing things?" and then they were like yeah we can't not throw our flags for that

I know I laughed when he stated the stat of how far the shoe flew when describing the penalty. I've never in my 40+ years of watching football have heard anything like that.

I posted this during the game as well. Refs just usually say unsportsmanlike penalty on ## and be done with it. I guess possibly they said it like that bc of the fog and not everyone could actually see it.

Reminded me of the scene in "Unnecessary Roughness" where the refs says "15 yards for a Matasuya thrust to the face, 15 yards for a Suzuki roundhouse kick"

The ref down field where it landed threw it immediately, you could see players on both teams reactions. Then the other flags came in.

I was watching the Skycaset and Taylor gets up cant find anyone to give the ball to since refs were chatting and he was really confused about where his shoes was. His reaction to the whole process was pretty funny.
