I get what you're saying, but these are just excuses. Only losers make excuses. Kelly and Nuss have both said this is the best team we've had since their time at LSU. Time to put up or shut up.

I think so too.
I also think folks are making too much of a deal about Clemson’s draft projections, as if those are ever accurate.
Like where was Joe Burrow, Justin Jefferson, Patrick Queen projected to go in the first round in June of 2019? What about Jayden Daniels, Malik Nabors, and Brian Thomas Jr. in the summer of 2023?

Nussmeir and Kelly are not making the excuses.
All I am saying is that considering that we play in the SEC and in the era of NIL we are going to be outgunned regularly in terms of talent, we should not shoot ourselves in the foot by making our schedule harder than it already is.

Klubnik threw all over the best pass defense in the CFP and their WR corps might be the best in CFB this year
Add in having the best DT, edge and CB in the country and it’s going to be a tall task beating them in Death Valley, or anywhere for that matter.
