I give money to taf, but I don't think that should be a pre-requisite to bitch about the team and coaching on this site.

I would agree but what (sadly) surprises our fans is that the gap between the two isn’t that big. Also, Saban was given (emphasis on given) the single, biggest mulligan in CFB history in ’11 (and I have little doubt that we would have defeated OSU has we played them). IMO, Les should have one more natty and Saban one less. That means over the same time frame (’07-present), both would have 2 SEC’s and 2 natty’s.
What chafes my backside concerning Les is that he needs in the worst kind-of-way to get over the ’08 int fest and be the Les of his earlier years here.

the main difference between coach miles and sabin is the fact that espn does the best part of sabins recruiting and slive handles refferees and scheduling !

The numbers don't accurately reflect Miles performance. Many of the wins in recent years have been wrought with sloppy and inconsistent performance. They might manage to pull off a win yet the game is overall lousy. I'd love to see a really sharp, finely-tuned team on the field, but that has not been the case.
