He said it 48 hours after the fact, under pressure, and I'm sure with a lot of coaching

People...Michael Bonnette preps him on everything he says. None of that is of his own doing.

I dont know what press conference you watched, cause I listened to it live and it was mostly incoherent ramblings. Did you happen to see the question and answer. Miles got punked when they started talking about Purdue getting a FG off in one second.

The press conference can be found on the lsusports website in the article that says Les Miles press conference vs Arkansas or something like that. On the main page.

When it's so obvious to the whole world that it was HIS fault, what else CAN he say? Not sure he should get much credit for this now.

Watching and listening give you different perspectives...

I have read the rant today, and listened to talk radio beat him up all day...I had got it out of my system as well...

then I decided to watch the actual press conference at noon....

I thought he handled it well.... you could tell the journalist were just licking their chops. Everyone was just wanting to pounce on him

He makes a mistake, lies about it, puts the blame on kids and now he "only" apologizes for making the mistake, What about throwing JJ under the bus. He din't apologize about lying to the media, Just tell the truth and it shall set you free.

Jesus mother of mary. Have we gone from being a liar to raping a 5 year old in this thread here? For godsakes get control of yourselves.

Les did good in the presser. And yes, he had to.

I'm just guessing, but probably 35 hours 59 minutes 30 seconds away...

Damned lonely at the top....

And this is why I believe the team will revolt against him and possibly fold this upcoming weekend.

I believe the players have lost all confidence in the coaching staff.
