I think he owned it...and handled it well.

I believe what he said.

He said at least ten times, "it's my fault"..."I'm the head coach, it's my responsibility"

He also addressed the team when they got home, and said the same thing he told the press..

You have to at least respect the man for owning his own mistakes.. you can tell he feels bad about it.

he didn't' even ask for his support but rather support the players when the media person suggested he make some public announcment to the fans. This is the part where you can't but help pull for the guy to succeed..

A guy goes out and rapes a 5 year old, but owns up to his mistake...do you respect that guy?

I don't dislike the guy. He has already suceeded to the to tune of millions of dollars over the last 5 yrs. I just dont want him as LSU's coach anymore. You guys act like if we fire him, he will be living on the street or something..

That is not even close to the same situation. And in this situation you have to respect the guy for saying, "I made a mistake, its MY fault"

Uh, I uh, there's a want to not make a mistake, so um, ah, uh the player held on to the ball too long, and uh, there's a want to have more time on the clock.

No...I don't think that...

I'm just trying to be objective and responding to what he said....

I was afraid he may not own it...Pride is a big deal.... He laid it down...that is all I am saying
