The LSU admin overplayed their hand once again and we are now in an us or them situation. Alleva and co know this. Wade knows this.Expect the media narrative to continue to be vague hit pieces about Wade's unwillingness to cooperate with this administration. They're hoping we as alumni and fans see this as an admission of guilt on Coach Wade's part and eventually come back to support the administration's decision to ultimately fire Wade. They have to fire him BEFORE April 21st if they hope to maintain their positions. This way even if Wade is found to have not participated in any real wrongdoing, they can point to his insubordination as cause for his firing and saving the university millions in money owed.

This is their play.

If they fire him without him having the opportunity to talk with them I pray he gets hired as a college coach again -- and I'll root for him if that team would ever play LSU.

The fact that we are even in this situation to begin with should have already made this clear.

This looks terrible for future coaches considering working for LSU

The whole administration from the BOS on down to the AD and compliance department is one giant shite show. It's infuriating!

Let's assume Wade is innocent for a minute. Why do you think LSU would want to fire him?

What if it's Alabama, if Avery is fired?

If that’s the case I will devote all my free time and considerable wealth and influence to destroying the lives of every Board member and admin responsible, within the boundaries of the law.

Fire him because he would not violate a court order that comes with a subpoena. He can not talk about this with anyone but his attorney and his wife. If that happens I fully expect Wade to sue the digits right out of LSU's bank account. A lot of them.

This is the second time you've proposed this ridiculous hypothetical.

Wade is a threat to the day to day operations of LSU. Which as stated by our current AD, is not winning. He is not toeing the line. They're perfectly happy with doing just enough so that the boat isn't rocked too much and expenses are relatively low. Allowing them to funnel more and more money away from athletics and into the failing academics. Wade has repeatedly been at odds with the administration with regards to funding his program. They don't want this. Wade is rocking the boat.

They have shown on several occasions they value optics over results. It's why 2015 happened with Miles. It's why we ended up with Orgeron. In the mind of LSU administration, Wade has damaged the brand of LSU. For them, it's about appeasement. Appeasing the national media is the true goal of LSU and it is politically driven.

I feel like they can coexist. Just end the suspension and let the NCAA / Feds do all the work and if they find something illegal then we part ways
