I have us going 10-2 in the regular season.

Yes we play Bama at home but I just don't think we have the horses to compete yet.
Arkansas I have us losing because of the emotional hangover us losing for the first time this season, at home, to Bama.
I haven't really said anything about Brian Kelly except that he is killing it in recruiting.
Could injuries change things up? Of course but they change things up for all teams. With all teams at full strength, this is what I would predict. Looking forward to this season as I know we all are.

I feel like this team has some really great players and can shock people as long as we stay healthy, particularly at corner

Take off your purple and gold glasses for a minute, we’re not going 10-2. The ceiling for this year is 9-3 and that’s if every bounce goes our way. We have an entire new coaching staff, a new qb, and a new o-line.

Realistically going 4-4 in the SEC would be considered a win. Anything above that is overachieving for this season. We’re one season away from being a 10+ win a year program again.

UT could be better than they have been. 2nd year for the coach and they seem to be putting some things together and we have UF the next week.
Not a team I would want to have come in and shock us. But, I do believe BK will have them prepared for every game.

We’re losing to bama and a&m and then we’ll lose a game to one of these teams - FSU, UT, OM, or Auburn.

Just like you, I don’t see us beating bama or Arkansas on the road.
Unlike you, I don’t see us beating A&M on the road, and I find it unlikely that we come away with a win against ole miss and Tennessee. I think we may be vulnerable against Tennessee because I expect us to come into that one undefeated.
Best case: 9-3
Realistic: 8-4,7-5
Underperforming but conceivable: 6-6

Why does everyone say we are a year away? It's either this year or probably two years from this season. Besides losing Boutte, we probably losing every starter on Defense beside Maason Smith and possibly Jay Ward.
