Best case scenario for Lsu is Les wins 10 we hold onto elite recruiting class, he finishes 2017 and retires.

I must respectfully disagree. I don't understand how you can come to this conclusion. remember mett's senior year. we started off with the kind of offense we're seeing now, because we didn't know how good the defense would be. I was ecstatic. and then came the auburn game. (might have been florida). I think it was a little wet, about the 4th game of the season, and we won without having to pass. after that we got the same old crap that we've seen from our offense. once miles can win without having to pass, that's what he'll do. sure, mett completed a lot of passes to landry and beckham on 3rd down. but the play-calling was crap. the handcuffs were on. I don't know how you can't see that.

now, the play calling has improved. i'm enjoying it while I can. I don't trust les anymore, though. he is very capable of going right back to doing just enough if the defense gets really good.

People like you just don't get it. It's not the fact that we lost to Wisconsin, it's how we looked in the loss. The 2 wins were not pretty either. It's the same sloppy brand of football that people are sick of.

you either are misinformed or never really looked into this before posting.

do you actually know Saban's record at LSU. not his Bama record but his LSU record. Miles has won more games in the LAST FIVE years than Saban is his 5 years. Saban won a NC following a long dry spell but he is no more responsible for Miles success than Dinardo was for his.

how many games did Saban lose in '04? and you call that the top program in the country?

I tire of these misrepresentations. does anyone have any intellectual honesty anymore?

do you not know how to look at what saban built here and left les? The whole body of work? Do you know anything about performance? or do you only know how to read the stats online the next morning like most bozos here?

saban was a count hair away from 3 straight sec west titles here. will you still bloviate about miles' overall wins even if he goes 0-11 somewhere else? jesus man.

quote:

Miles has won more games in the LAST FIVE years than Saban is his 5 years.

ok then, where is all the hardware for those wins the last 5 years? where? where?

saban won 2 sec titles and a natty in 5 years here.

miles has done same in 12 years....you think saban would have had the downturn here miles has had?

and if you cannot look at miles sec record the last few years and especially against sec west teams you are beyond help like gray tiger. are you related?

but yeah let's just look at wins the hell with hardware...who cares right especially since we have only won the west ONCE the last 8 years and might be going on NINE!

read this link also so you can learn some "intellectual honesty"

Nick is the coach at Bama - has nothing to do with Lsu today

there is a big IF running with this season - Les wins the SEC and beats Bama he saves his job and makes many of you cry as we win the SEC - crazy

Geaux Tigers - of course I am not saying he will but as a fan I am saying he could.

LSU football from 2005-2011 was the best run we've ever seen. But a new era began in January of 2012 and I'm ready to end that era and move on to the next one.

Surely this is a troll thread because with the exception of about 1% of you Sunshine Pumpers aka Miles Lovers, there isn't ANYONE happy with Les.

Even if he wins the National Championship I hope he is fired after the game - and you and Choctaw and Beefense can all go cheer for him at the next school he goes to.

Agreed, I'm a Miles fan as much as I am an LSU fan. If he were to go part of my fan hood would as well. Coach Miles is Lsu football and Lsu football is coach Miles. So in wanting him gone you aren't really a true fan of Lsu football. Geaux tigers and geaux coach Miles!

Peach bowl? Texas bowl? how about that truly embaressing music city bowl? Did Urban or Saban ever go to one of those?

What superior coach ? This years flavor of the month Tom Hermann? I seem to remember Muschamp and Malzahn both being flavored of the month about five years ago. One has been fired and one will be . I never have understood the mentality of rejuvenation and reinvigoration from fan bases (all schools ) from the action of the school ( firing a long time head football coach) that has an 83% failure rate . Rarely does a school get it right the first hire after a long term coach is dismissed yet everyone wants to jump on that fire that guy mentality.
We need the right hire! I guess no one else in college football has figured that out , only LSU

We have the facilities... We have the recruiting base .... Etc etc etc

83% failure rate!!!!! 83 freaking percent That's the opposite of Russian roulette. Put five bullets in the gun one blank put it to your head and pull the trigger If you don't blow your head off , you just hired a coach that makes it
