am not intending my comments to be bashing. Well, bashing of our QB, I do get frustrated at some on here that attack when someone points out an area that needs improving.

I agree. There is a difference between a little criticism of a player and the non-stop daily targeted attack on the QB by a portion of our fan base last season.

I saw him stand in there and take more than a couple of pops Saturday night
but ok, you see what you want to see

Same here. I was at Auburn in '08 when they levelled that kid twice while he torched them on two touchdown throws. Same thing a year ago for UT and UF. Kid ain't any more scared than anyone else. Hell, Payton Manning has happy feet to this day. Guess he's scared too. Lee's plenty tough as far as I'm concerned.

I must admit I dont want to see Lee suddenly start taking hits to make some of you happy with his manhood. We have no other tested QB.

Why do pussies like you like to question the toughness of your betters? Like Col. Nathan Jessup said, "I'd rather you just said thank you, or take up a rifle and stand the post. Either way, I don't give a damn!"

Paraphrased a bit, but you get the gist. STFU.

I have never in 8 years asked that a poster be banned, StatMaster, you're the 1st. I'm not reading through 9 pages, I just hope they are all flames.

I remember thinking last game that Les ought to tell Lee not to jump in again after a fumble, that is how Drew Brees killed his shoulder.

In August, while Lee is out sweating his arse off trying to get his chance, what was your candy arse doing? You can post negative about almost anything, but not question the courage of a young man who has given 1000x more than you will ever think about.

Can't be scared with the luxury of having the best and most experienced On-line in 3 years. And a 5th year senior at that, should be no problem for JLee, right?

You people are a bunch of pussies if you have to bash someone that is stating the obvious. JL starts crapping in his pants as he ran away from the pocket with very happy feet and lost 5 yards because he could not just take a hit and go down when the pocket collapsed.

I hope he reads these posts and becomes a man about it and gain that moxie he needs to step up in the pocket. It is like a golfer who reverse pivots, hard to beat the top pros doing that. Sure JL can win at LSU doing that but it could cause us a win or 2. Look at the best QB's and the way they throw, they step up, heck even OK high school QB's do that.

He needs to hear this and the coaches need to fix it now, because it is his last year. I commend people who say it like it is and pansies like you are worried it hurts JL's feelings. Bo Hoo, suck it up man!!!!

Are we not allowed to post anything "not positive" about our team? Am I wrong? Have you guys not watched J Lee? Did anyone see Lee diving into the pile to recover the fumbles...yeah, neither did I.

Never EVER Should a QB be allowed to "dive" into a pile after a lose ball

Drew Brees is exhibit A

I just posted to someone that you say what ever the hell you want and they should not worry about bullshite like JL may see this and it hurts his feelings. I am not with you or against you Statmaster, but you call a spade a spade, and I have to say that is what I se sometimes. Like I said, JL has a classic equivalent to a reverse pivot. I hope it does not cause a loss like you said in the PS:

Now someone is saying he needs to become "a man". You've never met him and don't know a damn thing about him. He tries to dodge a sack and now he's not a man. He made the wrong decision about which way to go in a split second, so now he's not "a man". This discussion has just crosseed into absurd.

Yes I was being sarcastic.

This whole thread sucks.

And JL may very well have been scared of getting hit! So what. That doesn't mean shite. What you do when you are scared is what counts. Not if you are scared or not.

And JL losing five yards bullshite people keeps posting is pathetic. You people are beyond stupid. If he reacted in that situation out of fear he would simply have fallen down to take the sack. Lee was looking for an escape route to buy some time.

Statmaster has given me sig quotes in the past, but I am not so sure this is one I am ready to take. Despite the direction he is going and the obvious way that he should have gone, he is likely right. Lee does have this issue. It CAN be corrected. We do not need our qb to be the best player...just make plays. Guess what? He did that 4 seasons ago as a frosh on the road. Let's just hope he adjusts to being a full-time starter, with the weight of the world slipping off his shoulders little by little.

I was not talking about you but since you joined in, you are admitting that you are one of the pussies I referred to.

All I am saying is that the original poster is correct that JL throws off his back foot and is a bit scared to get hit and that is fact. I just hate people saying to stop talking like that and you will hurt JL's feelings and that is big pussy shite. Grow up...I said bunch of pusses, you signaled me out as a douche, that is not smart!!!
