I've been to most of the SEC sites for games. The Georgia fans are the best, both at home and on the road. I wish more of our fans would behave the same way.

Agreed. If we beat Bama and win out, we likely face Georgia again in a mulligan game but in Atlanta this time... And if we get past them, we face Alabama again in a mulligan game in the playoff.
hoping ND and others stay undefeated.

If you guys continued to give to Holyfield, the game would have definitely been closer. He's a beast.

GA is my favorite SEC East team: quality teams, quality fans, and hospitable. But I want a rematch with the gaytors. If this is not possible, then I’ll settle for y’all epically destroying them.

Yes I hope to see you in Atlanta for the simple fact that it means we beat Bama.

This is pretty dumb

How many starters does the DL have?

It is pretty mind-boggling that they pretty much gave up on it so early. Your two main guys averaged 6 and 8 yards per carry. Why give up almost completely on that? I'm thankful for it, though.

I keep seeing stuff like this, but no one seems to want to remember two critical drives in the 2nd quarter. The drive after the fake FG attempt, UGA had a drive with 3 incompletions and a punt. HOWEVER, the two drives after that, both in the 2nd qtr, UGA ran on 1st and 2nd down, and an incompletion on 3rd down for both drives. They TRIED to go back to the run, and LSU shut it down to close out the first half (their last drive in the 1st half came with 2 minutes to go, forcing them to pass that series).

UGA's first series in the 2nd half gained 54 yards passing and 19 yards rushing (no sack yards included) averaging 7.7 yards per pass play, and 4.75 per rush, and resulted in points.

The next drive resulted in an INT.

Then their TD scoring drive had a 23 yard pass play, as well as 15 yards on pass interference by Greedy, though they finished the drive with strong runs.

After that drive they came out running the ball and got stuffed again, having to pass on 3rd and long, and then punting. After that drive, they were too far behind to run the ball, and were forced to pass.

So, in short, the drives after which their running game were gaining yards, the runs got shut down. THAT'S why they didn't run the ball more, they were getting stuffed. On 25 designed running plays, 13 of them were stopped for 3 yards or less (9 rush attempts for 2 yards or less - not including sacks). They tried to run the ball, but every time they started to get success, LSU adjusted and shut it down.

I agree. LSU changed its defensive scheme and shut down the run. Ga.'s backs' averages were big because of long first quarter runs.Shut down after that. I think Kirby is a good enough coach to continue to run if it was there but it wasn't.People need to stop parroting "why did they stop running" They stopped because LSU stopped them.

I think Fromm just had a bad day. I watched one his throws in warmups, and he missed a 10-yard square out by a mile. It was so far over the receiver's head that he didn't even bother. I thought it was odd.
