Difference between getting someone what they need and what they want.

Agreeing and following through are two different things. Wade is fine unless they have more

Remember when Arkansas had to fire Petrino after his dilly dally with a employee? He had to go and he was fired. Most here thought he was safe as a bug in a rug because he won.

High profile positions are a different animal. You can't be a cheater and survive.

Wasn’t there already an investigation into this, this past season, finding nothing? As of no, it’s just a very vague conversation.

If so, Calipari wouldn't be coaching

Wasn't this more of an issue of him creating a position (insert sophomoric giggle) for the girl he was banging inside of the athletic department? Basically putting her on the payroll to bang her.

Can someone explain what criminal behavior is? Time was that everyone understood what was right and wrong because it was simple. One does not bear false witness, cheat, steal or murder. Bearing false witness gets a lot of attention these days, but it has been miscast by Byzantine laws designed to make anyone a 'criminal'. The NCAA rules are a case in point.

Does anyone truly accept that one school can get all the top recruits year after year 'just because'?

Ambiguous rules make ambiguous and arbitrary enforcement easy which allows for an entire system to be manipulated from without. The ptb are not going to risk billions of dollars to 'fair play'. That is a pipe dream. I may discuss how this impacts the playoff committee sometime.

Most of them cheat. But Wade in on FBI wire tap. FBI.

He better have a good explanation.

How many of you remember Ron Abernathy and his brief case full of cash?

FBI wire.

None of the big guys would be coaching. K, Williams, Izzo, Self, etc.

These players/handlers don't ask for money and then magically not take anything to go to those schools. It's all dirty.

The main concern I have with the audio is if it gives cause for an NCAA full investigation, because who knows what ends up getting flushed out at that point. The recording by itself isn't a massive deal.

I remember my high school principle called me into the office with the school officer . They overheard kids saying I had brownie cookies 5 a bag. They told me these drug allegations were very serious . They opened my backpack and behold actual Betty Crocker brownie cookies .

Most encouraging part of the whole story is the kid signed with Duke. So are we to assume Duke did something illegal? I agree Wade’s comments are extremely vague. I’m not to worried about it.

Why not wait and see how things develop from this before passing judgment? It's not like you have anything additional to lose.

I can't get past here.... In the recordings Wade never said anything about funds.

BUUUTTTT The funds in these situations never come from the university. They come from alums with lots of money. BUT No where is there anything that says Wade told a recruit he would get money.
