I hate to say this about Will Wade...

But his days are numbered. He's on a wire tap agreeing to pay expenses asked from a recruit.
Where is Wade getting the funds? LSU is about to get busted, big time. And it explains why we are getting top 100 recruits by the bucket load. They all cheat, but that's no excuse. Wire tap.
I wrote Will a nice letter when he got hired. I reminded him of the great history of LSU basket ball. I had high hopes, too.
I am sickened at these development.

What Wade said on tape is very vague. There's no paper trail, no proof, no receipts. Just a vague statement that could mean anything honestly.
Wade never says, "Ok, I'll pay you X amount of dollars to send him our way." Absent that or some legit proof of consideration (payment), there's nothing here.

If you want to compete with the big boys you have play like the big boys simple fact and if we’re not competing with the big boys you people is ready to jump off a cliff. In this day in college athletics you cannot have your cake and eat it too. All Will Wade said on tape was I can get you what you need maybe I he can get him a top-notch education top notch facilities and training with some top-notch people

I don't know what most of you do for a living, but my experience in fortune 500 companies and high profile government positions don't survive FBI wire taps.

1. The tap was for a fed case against a POS acting as an agent for an amateur player. Highly illegal. It wasn't a wiretap on Wade.
2. Wade saying "get you what you need" could have been implying LSU will take care of the player's scholarship and usual recruiting perks.
And "have to make it work" could imply that LSU will do it by the book, and be compliant with the NCAA
