JJ is more willing to run now and that makes the two qb system work.

He also brought up what Blackledge (sp) said about how UF should be playing for the fake. Les outcoached Urbs there without question.

I will erase all football knowledge I have if, of all people, Les and Gary have the magic touch to make a 2 QB system thrive.

It works as long as neither of them let ego get in the way. If they embrace the whole thing and feed off each other it'll be fine...

fine. but we need to be the system that STARTS THE PASSER AND BRINGS IN THE RUNNER. not the other way around.

If JJ is gonna get the TD's handed to him.

JL should be the starter.

Not to mention JL has consistently outplayed JJ.

Its as simple as that.

Yes I completely agree. Les wants to try and be loyal to JJ but that's worn out.

Let Lee start and JJ get the right plays. JJ is willing to run now and the fact that he can pass some really makes it tough to defend when he comes in but not starts.

I have to agree. JJ's role should be to work the run game. When he does drop to pass, if his primary reciever is covered, he should immediately run. That would hopefully reduce the number of mistakes and result in positive yardage.

I agree with this. I am not opposed to lee playing but I don't agree with lee driving all the way downfield then giving Jj the ball on the 1 or 2 yard line

I don't see how you can say a Coach with a better team outcoached the Coach with a lesser team. If anything, it was great coaching by Meyer and UF to actually put them in that great position to win.

I've been thinking for two or three weeks that Jefferson just needs to run the read-option with some play-action. Crowton needs to watch Texas in 2005 and get three or four pass plays off the read-option and let Jefferson run about 10-15 a game.

It was mistakes and turnovers that put them in position to win. It had nothing to with Meyer. Their defense gave up 380 and thier offense got 250, or something like that. You can't really blame an interception and muffed punt on Les.

josh, you're right, I meant on that play. We called the fake Urbs didn't tell his team to play the fake. The FG is low percentage and doesn't beat you. You HAVE to play the fake. IF Chase gets a little better block Jasper scores

i don't want jefferson responsible for reading anything. if he has to play, just give him something easy like a hand off and call the play muffin.

I'm not blaming Les for the fumble on the punt or the special teams TD by florida, but I am gonna blame him for the JJ int. Kid shouldn't even be in there if we aren't around the goal line.

FL...lesser team than LSU.

For real.

Tell me again what coaching moves were made by Meyer, specifically adjustments made to be successful. His teams put together ONE drive all night. He got his arse handed to him throughout the game.

His defense got GASHED by Toliver when LSU had no timeouts, at he very, very worst this game should have been a tie....Meyer D, COST his team..where were his safeties?

12 in a huddle, we do that.

Poor position by DBs...yes, Florida.

frick, minus a KO return and a dumbass go for two call...Meyer takes an equally talented Fl team and gets run at HIS place.

Save me the 'he kept it close' horseshite.
