They overpaid, a one side buyout, with how much guaranteed? I mean this has to be the worst contract ever in college athletics.
How can anyone support that crap? You want that at LSU?

They have the money. And could they have gotten another coach of Jimbo's caliber?
You could argue based on money available and caliber of coach that we overpaid for our guy more than they did for theirs.

The Aggies have several billion in their endowment combined with an Association of Former students that were desperate to be relevant in the SEC. huge difference

People are so elated that JA is gone they can’t and won’t see that ANYONE can get decent coaching with a checkbook filled with frick you money...problem is LSU ain’t got FU money.
