These rumors aren't rumors. Harris himself tweeted he needed to work harder to see the field.

I don't doubt that and while it may be admirable...it's not good for our program. A good coach finds ways to connect with and motivate their players in order to get the most out of them. BH is a kid with potential. It's Les & Cam's responsibility to maximize that potential.

Les Miles jumped up and down yelling for a timeout after we intercepted a pass one time. Just let that sink in.

I have been a huge CLM critic but lately I've changed my tune. Obviously were gonna run a lot with no real QB. Not much else you can do. I was at the game yesterday and Jennings had his best game of the season. He really only missed three throws. Give Les another year and then we'll talk.

you'd better duck.

imo, AJ improved a lot this year and yesterday was his best game. it's not his fault that the wide outs were not getting open that often and most of the play calls were runs. and successful runs at that. what I liked was how much time the OL was giving him to look downfield;it was the most all year.

now if our DL would have played that well we would have won.

its also Brandon Harris job to put in the work, hell if he spends as much time in the film room as he does on damn twitter, he just might be able to see playing time.

Example latest tweet after the game from LF, "time to go to work"

lastest tweet after the game from BH, "its been a fun ride. Which of these are the characteristics of a LEADER?

someone gave you a downvote. I agree with you it should not be the hardest worker but want you can get the job done the best

If Brandon puts in the work, he will get a chance.

Ya know, I see this all the time but no one has actually confirmed it. But hell, let's assume it's true.

How far is this concept taken? I mean, if AJ was hurt, I assume we'd have brought in BH and not Krags. So, obviously there is some level of bad that "poor work ethic" would still not hinder BH getting in.

The stunner is that AJ this year didn't meet that level of bad in Miles' eyes.

Sorry, but I don't want a brat heading up LSU as well. Harris needs to put in the time and he also needs to eat. The kid is 6'3 and less than 190. He'd get broken in half if he played a lot this year.

He has NFL level talent, but he needs to have that hard work mindset. Landry and Beckham and Hill and Mett, and even Jennings. all bought into Cam's NFL business level mindset. Harris needs to do the same.

We'll see him next year starting for LSU, I'm sure of it.

seeing Diarse get the ball on the flea flicker apparent pass play and motion to the receiver (Jennings?) to continue his route, he seemed more assured of himself on what he wanted to do as a passer than some of the quarterback play LSU had this year and knowing that he played some quarterback in high school

and knowing what a strong runner he is with the ball made me think that he probably could have done at least as good a job at quarterback as anyone else this year and maybe (probably?) better

made me wonder

That's not exactly earth shattering and some act like he said he never saw a playbook. He also said he knows the plays/ playbook. The main reason he failed was he was put in a position to fail. Piss poor management of the QB position made both QBs look worse than they should have. Zaire only passed for 96 yards but I believe most of those yards came on first down passes. Where as our QBs and more specifically Harris in the Auburn game were only asked to pass when it was third and long.

Y'all fricking guys need to quit this Brandon Harris woulda been in the playoffs with him crap. He's a 18 year old kid. This year was just a year for him to get physically capable and mentally capable to play big boys football. Now the year has passed. Come spring heading into fall he should take off running. Come next fall if he isn't starting he has only hisself to blame

Yep just like Mat Flynn, J Lee had them selves to blame, STOP IT. AJ had no business starting for a Top Program in the SEC.

Then who the frick else then. The problem was not hitting on any QBs in the years prior which falls on Les Miles. But to Think Harris was the answer is just dum.

You wanted Flynn to start over Russell his senior. Year. That's dum. He was only the 1st pick in the draft

What make you think Harris is better?
Better athlete? yes
Better talent? yes
Better QB at this time? Probably not.
He played against a real def. twice. One series against Wis. and couldn't read the blitz. And we won't talk about Aub.
A lot of people wanted to see Mett in '11 but found out in '12 why he didn't.

I'm not defending CLM here but we have had a run of bad luck situations with QBs that have made us rely on QBs that weren't exactly ready to start. Think - Perrilloux, Kiel, and all of the recent QB tranfers.. Some of that was Les's fault but some of it wasnt..

I've had it. AJ just can't get the mother fricking job done. I've given him all season to prove something to me as a fan. I'm not convinced and never will be it seems
