If Daniels can capitalize on enough opportunities for explosive plays, LSU has a chance. He has got to hit those open long balls. Otherwise not much of a chance.

I’m excited but not getting hopes up. 2018 was the first time since probably 2012 I thought we were 100% going to win the game and we got smoked 29-0. Will forever be cautiously optimistic because of that year

That 2018 Bama team had legendary talent though and had one of the most dominant regular seasons of all time. This Bama team has a great QB and RB, but the O-line, WRs and D are not close to that level. But yes, Bama is usually hyped up for LSU, so we usually see the best of what they can do. LSU can't start off like they have on D the last few games.

If there’s a reason to hope, it is this.

This LSU team isn’t on the same level as Bama.

You're hoping LSU won't do something Texas couldn't do.

Enjoy your 87th downvote.

I have seen this story one too many times. We get excited to play Bama and them wham we get our cheeks clapped.

That was during an era of not taking the bye week seriously with preparation under two mentally challenged coaches. We have a real coach who knows x's and o's and is drooling over the talent at his disposal now.

This one feels different. We may lose again but we will be in the game.

That’s such a bullshite mentality. Let’s go compete and let the chips fall where they may. We have no pressure or expectation to beat Bama this year. If we win, it will be even better.

Are you trying to tell us you're a fan of LSU or an Aggie?

That’s what being a fan is all about: Positivity and excitement about your favorite team. If you’re not that type, you’re doing fanhood wrong.

Don’t know what you are looking for op. Maybe you should change your allegiance to Alabama so you don’t have to wonder if they will win.

Thanks, Dad, for explaining how we must needs view this game. Do not know what we’d do without you but we are more than willing to try.

This Bama game feels like 2018 Georgia to me. Was in New Orleans for a trip with friends and took a party bus to and from that game. Doing so again for this one. So I like that comparison.

Now that you put it that way, we’ve changed tailgate spots. We may have to move back home and invite all the same friends for this one.

Son, it's gonna take more than a good game from JD5. D needs to step up big time like how my D stepped up with your S.O.

We are already LITERALLY competing for the West. Right now. Present tense. Competing and winning are not synonyms.

Instead of being overly critical and pessimistic, why don't you just take it game by game and enjoy the shite out of it like we did in the day.

Everyone thinks they are a critic.
