No sure if you are serious, but guys who lie to their boss, the police, their college family, and their own family are plenty capable of doing harm.

Plus, what sane person wants to bring an arrogant, lie to your face, law breaking, fool into a college program that's one of the best in the nation already.

No!! Character counts. One bad apple will spoil the whole batch.Moral values like Petrino are the reason this country is going down the tubes.LSU will do fine offensively since they have found out it is not against the law to utilize the RB's & TE's in the passing game.Mett was 24 of 35 for 298 yds.He was 8 for 8 for 122yds to TE's & RB's for a 15.2 yds per catch.(not counting TD to Clement)He averaged 11 yds per catch to the WR's.41% of the passing yds were to the TE's & RB's which helped Mett finally look like the QB everyone thought he would be.Defenses of the opponents now have more to worry about defending.

just speculating on the question asked. his morality is dubious but then again the morality displayed throughout college football is dubious at best. a lot of people on this board say he is a prick....George S. Patton was an egotistical prick but he was also an agressive, innovative and relentless leader who knew exactly what was needed to defeat a highly sturctured and very professional enemy. just sayin.

again...as a consultant, I don't think we could do any better and we all know the only thing holding us back is offensive production and with Louisiana not producing adequate qb and receiver talent we need someone who can show us how to max what we do have. just sayn agian.

when the fbi is searching for a serial killer....who do they go to for advice? or was that just hollywood?

Auburn will hire Petrino as its next head coach.
He's a perfect fit.

Um, people seem to be forgetting that he interviewed in 04 and basically blew it in the interview. Really rubbed the powers the wrong way. The LSU/Petrino ship sailed.

Besides Patrino not liking CLM, I dont think CLM would touch him w/a 10' pole. He wouldnt want that baggage associated w/the program. CLM seems to run a pretty tight and ethical ship.

No, I don't think Petrino is a fit for LSU. Besides, Kentucky is all over his butt right now. UK see's a guy who fits their basketball programs culture.

I think that would never happen after Bobby gave Les the last year during the Arkansas game.

Not doubt chit happens in college sports, but hiring someone who later craps on the program is one thing and hiring someone who just took a dump on his last program is another. imo

That was the old Petrino
What if he could find it in himself, suck it up, eat crow & redeem himself as a human?
I don't think he'll get another job as a HC if he doesn't show himself changed

I think that Miles and his staff are honorable men who have built a great workplace that is an anomaly in football...and you want to parachute Petrino into this?
