I think we all know what goes on in college basketball.

Does that pardon someone for getting caught on a wiretap talking illegal deals?

Wait, you think we don't pay football recruits?

Wade deserves no blame for making offers for a recruit on a frickin FBI wiretap And then refusing to talk about it.

We all here can only hope that something happens to you in the near future where you are presumed guilty from mere "speculation". Then maybe you will have a totally different opinion on this entire Wade situation.

Your choir boy act and lack of fandom has grown old on this board. Please feel free to skip over any threads involving Wade in the future and LSU sports in general.

BTW.... Stop ignoring the fact that Wade didn't meet with LSU's admin b/c they tried blindsiding him with NCAA officials in attendance.

Will Wade's hands are completely tied.

I agree with you; but they are tied because of his actions. Nobody else started this issue.

It's convenient to blame everybody in the administration (especially since they have such a long history of screwing things up), but Will Wade need look no further than the mirror to see who is to blame for his troubles. Being a man and fixing a problem starts with personal accountability.

I'm not faulting the WW defenders for being upset. Hell, I'm upset. I wish he was on the sidelines. I really like him. But my fondness for him does not blind me to the fact that HE is the one that started this merry-go-round. We can all curse Alleva and King and the BOS together. I think we're all on the same page in thinking these guys are collectively a three-ring circus. But Will Wade's hands are not completely clean here.

Ok at least this is a rational point of view but don’t you think the “all he had to do was go in and talk” thing is just ignoring the facts. There are some legal constraints to that and the decisions the admin have made in the past have been poor and the decisions they continue to make are poor strategic decisions. There is a track record.

If it's that clear, why does he have to go and talk to the LSU admins about it?

He hasn't been presumed guilty. He is suspended and STILL GETTING PAID!

Ive defended Will Wade for 2 years against people that have questioned him. He's the best coach on campus.

I still understand right from wrong and accountability.

You like to get in fights over semantics on here every day and you say something fricking brain dead like this?

What recruit was on the phone? What offer was made?

Remember that when Alabama hires Wade as their next HC.

Indeed.
If your goon bros -- FKing, Alleva and James Earring -- would simply allow that conversation to occur, Wade would be on the side lines coaching.

Of course LSU won't allow that. To the contrary, LSU has done nearly everything possible to scuttle conversation.

They insist on Wade reviewing next months Federal Court testimony with the NCAA and unknown others listening in.

because they don't want to fire him, and there is possibility that there is still a loophole they can find to escape any penalties.

I live in the real world. You keep making posts ignoring what’s actually going on in the real world. That’s all there is to it. Do you or do you not continue to post that Wade refuses to meet with LSU while ignoring that he has been told not to by his legal council until April? Do you really believe at this point that LSU has his best interest at heart more than his legal council? Please tell me you aren’t that stupid.

I'm sure we do. And if Coach O is on a wiretap discussing it AND then, for whatever reason, refuses to talk to the AD (or President or anybody else they desire to have present), then I would encourage them suspend him until it gets straitened out.

Right.

Lester has it all figured out. Surely LSU has it figured out. Why does Wade need to go in and talk about something that they already know?

If you're going to play the semantics game at least be good at it. I never said he was on the phone with a recruit.

Ah, I see. So that's why they insisted that the NCAA be a part of the meeting?

I would rather have morals than win. Winning doesn't define who I am. Glad I'm not you. At least you are honest about not having any dignity!!!!
