You did see the A&M game right? Brossette was smarter than our coaches to fall down for the guaranteed win. The coaches showed their stupidity in trying to score afterwards.

Brossette falls, we get the first and go victory formation. That wins every time. (100%) A 14 point lead with a minute and 30 seconds kicking off to the opponent opens the door for craziness. (Even as remote as it is)

College athletes were not looking at 20 million dollar signing bonuses 20 years ago either.

One of the few things I’ll remember from this season is him laying up at the goal line twice vs arky

Thanks nick

So close to the 1k yard mark this season after so many fans wrote him off as being overrated. Still a great season for him IMO.

Watch him end with 999 yards. Sliding on them haters, huh?

He is definitely not overrated. Neither is CEH, our quarterback, our receivers, or even our offensive line. This year saw the same problems as every year for the past 10 years that makes the majority of our players look worse than they actually are: a shite offensive scheme. It so damn frustrating.

How exactly did you use an English degree to start a landscape company? Props to you on the initiative to go into business for yourself, but I'm failing to see how one contributed to the other.

Feel bad for him, too. Got to spend three years on scholarship at LSU as a backup and spend his senior year as the starting running back. I’m sure plenty of people would pay a large amount of money just to be able to start a single game for LSU for one series at RB. Dude sure has it rough and we should all feel sorry for him.

Are you serious?? Guy goes to school, grinds in the classroom and on the field and you decide to critique his major. You think it wasn't rigorous enough. FOH clown.

yes, I'm critiquing the rigor of a Sports Administration major. I'd find it astounding if you were to defend it.

Now, as I said before, graduating (in any field) is an accomplishment, and congrats to Nick.

But let's be realistic - this is the major that the vast majority of players select.... and it's for a reason.

While the playoffs are the end goal for a handful of teams, including LSU, they are not the single determining factor for a good season

Why feel bad for him? He had a good senior season and exceeded expectations. I think LSU fans appreciate his staying with the program and his performance.

Exactly. This is what the collegiate athletic experience is supposed to be. Too many have delusions of a pro career and never put any effort in their degree. Plus, hes a decent looking dude with charm and a great attitude that probably slayed more LSU poon than we could imagine.

Your post is fricking annoying.

I want To shite in your fake altruism, but don’t want to shite on Brosette. Who seems like a good kid.

He lacks options some other players have. He stuck around LSU because if he transferred he would have been in the same situation.

Not really playing till his senior year. I don’t see too many other schools giving him 200+ carries in a season.

I respect Brousette a hell of a lot more than "Greedy". Sorry if that rubs all the little millenial, narcissistic bitches the wrong way.

Brousette is a man of honor and integrity.

Needs 72 yards against the 117th ranked rush defense. He'll get it

However, the game is meaningless in the context of not being in the playoffs.

No shite? Bowl games have always been meaningless, in that context, outside a few teams. This is not a new concept with the playoffs. Most people have never been playing for a national title during bowl season, and, in fact, most teams aren’t playing for a national or conference title by November of the regular season either. That doesn’t make the games meaningless. Just stop
