I don’t understand how people can be so sure Daniels is the best option

He has started well over 30 games. The limitations are endless. He is what he is at this point. Yes, Nussmeir made several horrific plays against Southern. He also made several throws in that game Daniels can’t make. Nussmeir can actually anticipate a throw. Daniels cannot. We’re basing Nussmeir being a poor option on very limited playing. He needs meaningful snaps and I don’t mean throwing him in cold in the 4th Qtr at Jordan Hare. I mean WTF. Give the kid a chance to play an entire game. Daniels ain’t it. We aren’t winning anything meaningful with Daniels and how anyone can be convinced he’s better is bullshite.

At this point, Nussmeier is bad and Daniels is awful. The bad one could improve with experience, but the awful one already is experienced.

They do not know any such thing, but it sounds nice and makes the embarrassment of another failed QB easier to swallow.

Y’all gotta stop doing this every week. You’re not the coach. Brian Kelly is. Brian Kelly doesn’t think Nuss is ready. I believe him. You should too.

I don’t understand the blind faith some of you have in Nuss. He hasn’t been good any time he’s seen an extended amount of snaps.

Maybe he’ll eventually be good but right now Daniels is a better player

Because BK thinks so & we trust a guy who has been successful at this for 20+ yrs.

There is no qb competition. Daniels is the guy until he’s not.

You actually think the guy who went 8-20 for 80 yards against the Auburn defense is a better option??????

Based on what!! 8/20 for 80 yards against a half decent SEC team? Man you people are dumb. I’m not even saying Nuss is for sure better. I’m saying Daniels is so bad we have to find out for sure and that doesn’t mean half a game. Give him a legit chance.

Again, you’re so certain Nuss is the best, based on what? He had one terrible performance against a bad team, and one good performance against a slightly less bad team. You think Nuss should start against Tennessee?

Can he complete a pass greater than 5 yards beyond the LOS? Whomever can do that should be starting at this point.

We are basing our opinions off of limited snaps but the coaches see him every day and if they thought he was the best option he would be starting.

I couldn't agree more.

We have a QB who simply can not make the proper reads. LSU has some of the finest collections of WRs in the SEC and yet a passing attack that is near non-existent. Throw in a Fr TE that is not yet ready for prime time getting seemingly the majority of targets, and...

Daniels' legs and the fact that they are winning is simply a morphine shot to endure this very troubling reality, and the anticipation of things about to be getting much bleaker with their upcoming schedule.

You can’t even say that.

You HOPE Nuss is better but there is no actual reason to think that.

There are plenty of reasons to think he is not.

Nuss is not as accurate and not as mobile. Daniels has not thrown an interception and can keep the ball moving using his feet. How hard is it to understand

Our WRs totaled 32 yards last night - 2 in the entire second half. This QB’s completion percentage beyond 5 yards is abysmal. This is beyond Miles bad. Can it be worse?
