He made what was possibly the greatest night in LSU history about him while simultaneously bringing all of this negativity and embarrassment upon LSU.

He's a selfish person that caused the only blemish on what should have been nothing but positive. Now we have O having to answer questions about it in front of the press, we have the AD scrambling to investigate things, etc.

I hope the outcome is he is banned from interacting with the team for some time and if, i mean when, he makes another stink about it, ban him for longer.

Good riddance.

Because he went to LSU, if he had gone to a different school the fans on this board would think different

Don't confuse defending with not thinking that it's worth melting about. The guy was excited and having fun then took it too far. It happens.

Sounds like you're defending it to me. Even if you take the cop thing out of it, talking over o's speech to his team and the money thing are more than enough stupidity. the cop thing is just the cherry on top.

I think you, along with many others, are not looking at the whole picture of those defending OBJ. Speaking for myself, this is how I feel: OBJ did something stupid in the heat of the moment thinking it was funny with the money. The security guard was giving LSU players massive shite and OBJ tried to take his attention away and embarrass him (Not ok, but he wasn't being malicious...immature and dumb absolutely).

Overall, the guy has been incredible for our program. Our players absolutely love him. The coaches clearly love him. He has never been arrested for drugs or beating women or owning guns, etc etc. His biggest problem is that he has a vibrant personality and speaks out candidly about how he feels after games. He absolutely loves LSU. He is a fan like I am. He has done more for this university than 99% of alumni. I also can assure you that he is embarrassed and probably feels bad that this came back on LSU. You don't write off some of your most successful alumni because of a SMALL mistake they made in the heat of the moment.

TL;DR- don't excuse the actions, stupid of him, he's not some horrible person that should be banished forever.

OBJ is basically a Kardashian with a football uniform...

He’s Antonio Brown with an NFL contract...

Basically, an attention whore ....

And then to interrupt Coach O during his victory speech. As if he had any function in the win. But hey, if he was paying players to come to LSU maybe he felt he did.

If he were paying players to come to LSU and provide a championship would you then agree what an insulate arse he is?
