If Orgeron was smart he would joint Curtis Johnson's staff at Tulane. If Orgeron starts recruiting well for Tulane at the expense of LSU for some recruits then Les Miles fate will be sealed. He at least deserved a courtesy interview IMHO just to go through the motions if nothing else.

Maybe he has had one. Seems like everything is staying hush hush. Which has been a theme of Miles tenure here down to the littlest thing.

Maybe he hasn't though.

On different note, Miles might not want Ed O on staff because of his strong personality.

Imagine seeing the FB Dive for the 8th time in the game on a crucial 4th and 3 or getting a delay of game after a TO or commercial break. You think he might rip Miles' arse on the sideline? That would be a sight wouldn't it.

Can't rock the boat, must maintain the stupidity, no hire, lol

I laugh at you idiots that say crap like this.

It's comical that a bunch of retards on a message board think they know who would and wouldn't be a good fit for the coaching staff. If Les doesn't offer him a job, maybe, just maybe, there is a reason why.

But it is really funny when retards on a message board that don't know their arse from a hole in the ground insist that "Miles is digging his grave" by not hiring the personnel that they think is the best fit for the program.

Yea I don't think he will because all our other coach's are under contract. If that new rule gets passed maybe they would take a hard look but would most likely have to see how he would mesh with the DC and other coach's who's here already.

Why? Tulane is a pretty crappy destination for a football coach, IMO. I have to think Orgeron has aspirations for a bigger program than Tulane

Honestly, how many legitimate LSU recruits can any recruiter realistically pull to Tulane? Two very different programs considering very different recruits at this point.

Again, why? I'm of the opinion that courtesy interviews should be extended to alum. I'm just not sold on the idea that being a LA native entitles you to an interview at the flagship.

Yeah, O was such a great game manager as a HC he would barely be able to contain himself around Miles

No, I never have once made a comment that someone would be fired because they didn't hire the person that I thought would be a good fit for the program. People that think they know anything about what would or would not be a good fit for the program are probably morons.

You must have been sitting in the band section while the game was going on. Nobody that has played an organized sport in high school is going to just sit back and not have an opinion. Sports are meant to be competitive and when you we fail to compete people want answers. The coaches catch the most heat because they each get paid to do a job and if it looks like they haven't we as fans have a right to know why. So just sit back and let people speculate and have opinions. If we all felt the way you do this would be a boring web site

Well considering Orgeron hasnt been contacted yet and he has openly stated he is interested in any position at LSU, it's not looking good.

Miles is digging his grave.

Miles needs to contact DiNardo and ask him how being a stubborn arse does wonders for your tenure at LSU

It would be dumb not to hire Oregeron--- he & Wilson would produce #1
Or #2 recreiuting classes every year at the expense of the guy in Alabama.

I hear all these great things being said about Ed O , but their must be a reason no one has snatched him up. Must be some baggage involved if everyone is passing on him.

How do you know he's not turning down others because he wants to be at LSU? If LSU passes, he'll go to another SEC school and raid Louisiana talent.
