Meh, this is different than complaining about the offense a and QB situation. I'm on board with that. That at least has merit. These negative Nancy's are just negative people at their core. I wish they would go be ULL fans or something because the shite is old and it's been like a week.

what was our offense ranked with the highest paid staff in the country? and you laugh at what fans think...you should laugh at the job they did but you are incapable of criticising anything involving Les.

Tell me who you want as a DC and who you don't...I already know your answer.

Actually it does. He got an extension. He had no intention to let Haley go two weeks ago.

This is the biggest reason for the holdup IMO. If they went CP and O, Haley or Ensminger would have to be let go which means buyouts for 2 week old contracts. Though worrying about buyouts rather than attaining the best coaching staff possible might not be the best recipe for success. Hopefully they find a way to balance it out that results in more wins.

Ok, so why have a negative baseless opinion? Miles has at least brought in good coordinators in the past, so that's not baseless for me to think he will again.

Yes, he got shown the door. Haley is in charge up there now, I don't think you can blame him for north LA, which is what I thought the other poster was insulating. I just happened to respond to you.

the coaches couldn't even develop him after the auburn game

What does this have to do with recruiting?

he was good enough in the coaches eyes to start vs. a top 5 team on the road but not good enough to get any playing time after that. Do you not see an issue with that?

No.

How many carries did LF get against Ark? Do you remember the reason our coach said he didn't get more?

Your statement has absolutely zero relevance to the statement you responded to which was me telling some retard that we had the #2 recruiting class in the country last year when he said the decline is for real and it all starts with recruiting.

Your incoherent rambling was 100% irrelevant to the conversation, but thanks for the contribution.

Its the uncertainty that's causing the negativity.....in a few days, when we hire a DC, people will go back to being dicks for no reason.

Agree, but for today, its definitely OK...

Does having a positive and optimistic outlook on the coaching hire make you less invested in LSU football? LSU football and sports in general haven't been a determining factor in my overall happiness since I was in college. Being pessimistic and thinking Alleva and Mikes will fumble this process doesn't change that, it's just an opinion like an optimistic one. I just have very little faith in the entire staff at this point. Simply, I think Les has gotten complacent. It happens

Ok. Like you said, it is a matter of opinion. Again, there is a lot of effort being put into both sides of what "might" happen versus what happened. There will be plenty of time for all the nega/posi stuff after a hiring is announced.

Les tends to do the exact opposite of what the fans want...his way of saying frick you to the fans???

I will give the decision makers the benefit of the doubt because fans typically see these decisions as being made in a vacuum. Granted, sometimes situations align perfectly so the perceived obvious choice is able to be made, but that rarely seems to be the case.

Ed has a personality and draws attention to himself. Les wants to be the sole identity and personality pn the team. He would not want the O.

Oh the offense was shite, but you wouldn't do better or else you'd be coaching football. Get it?

He's brought in as many bad ones as he has good ones, on both sides of the ball. So I guess it's a coin flip on whether he'll make a good hire this go round

It doesn't matter how good the recruits are if the coaches can't get results. Look at the last 3 years and tell me if we have finished the season in line with how well we recruit.

Yes Miles is trying to sabotage LSU.

We have the most miserable negative chicken little fans of any fanbase and it's embarrassing.

You're an idiot if you don't think even a marginal high school coach could have run our offense this past season.

On second thought, I'll just stick with...you're an idiot.

We don't even won't to compete, just don't have that mindset. Doubt anything changes that.

You don't seriously think that the average fan could possible understand the complexities of scheming, teaching, and game planning an SEC offense do you? Come on man, be a little real around here.

I want Les to chose the person who will be the best fit with the current defensive staff and who is best capable of organizing the defense.
Since Les Miles knows the personalities and the game of football better than me you you, I'll trust him to do what he thinks will give LSU victories.
I admit that I have no clue as who that might be. And neither do you or anybody else posting here. I don't have a horse in this race because. I'm not vested in some sort of coach fandom.

Whoever gets the job will get my support, for as little as that means. Then I'll sit back in my seat in Tiger Stadium and watch the results without having some juvenile chip on my shoulder because my favorite wasn't chosen.

Just how many fanbases do you have knowledge about to make such an assinine statement?

go stick your head in the sand...everything is fine at LSU nothing to be concerned about.
