UT and UF have just as much if not more talent than LSU and neither of them won three NC's with their respective quarterback. Not to mention Bama just won the NC with a quarterback that many would simply describe as adequate.

i vividly remember the bad years. i recognized bad coaching then and recognize it now. Mike Archer is just like Miles, but could not recruit....hence he could only hide behind talent for two years. Curley Hallman never really had the talent to hide behind.

I went to UVA undergrad. Those fans deserved to whine.
Les Miles is a fantastic coach who has managed to have had the best winning percentage of any LSU Coach in five years ever.
Also, LSU was one of three teams to have a winning record in the SEC last year (Alabama and Florida obviously being the other two).
If you expect to win a NC every year and expect the coach to get fired for not winning one every year, you sir are an idiot.

The Coaches are responsible for recruiting. Do you expect them to recruit 22 positions and special teams flawlessly?
Besides, our QBs are not terrible. Jefferson will be pretty good. Last year he threw about two touchdowns every game and maybe one interception. He didn't do that badly. Another year under his belt will do him well.

Those same people will be in the stands or watching on TV come Sept. It's not a big deal.
05 to 07 was the best 3 year period in LSU history with 07 being a NC. Fans, like all of us in all avenues of life, get spoiled very easy and never wish to return to the non-spoiling days.
I think the bitching, although unseemly at times and over the top at other times, comes from a fear of losing our elite status we obtained this decade more than anything else. Plus, we LSU fans like to bitch a lot on general principles. I think there is something in the water down here.

Wrong... they have great defenses... good running games.... control the clock because of it and have quaterback play that doesn't turn the ball over......
