But , kid has a Bama offer. of course the negative nancies found something wrong with kid committing. KID wants to attend LSU and coaches think he is real deal. Saban likes kid , oh wait he would be processed. Am I doing that right?

Where are all these "insults" in this thread? Most everybody is simply pointing out that it's silly to draw any conclusions from one commit right now.

He does worse than 9-3 this year and it’ll be another HC in 2019.

I'm not seeing that at all. I'm seeing people saying it's silly to pump up the coach's recruiting abilities in June because a kid ranked in the middle of the pack committed.

10-2 or better and I won’t be miserable at all!

But worse than that and I’d rather just have Les, which is saying a lot.

When a kid commits to out of state school it's a whole different story. Fact! It's nice to think that kid is serious about attending LSU. Life happens, something at home, a girl freind or like at A&M a new boy friend . We all know life changes that changes life decisions.

This is freaking dumb. Yeah, let's only get excited about a recruit on signing day. How miserable are you? You know the vast majority of recruits don't flip, right?

I don't think you know what an insult is.

Well with the stellar class, we should be holding the trophy in January, right? No more excuses.

I hope so and I hope he comes here and kicks arse all over the place. Also, I've said it over and over that O should trust his evaluations and not be worried about how many stars a kid has. I just hope he's right.

If that is the case LSU is in a good shape. Colllege sports is all about recuiting. Satan will not win anything with Vandy players.

Not miserable at all since I don't tie my excitement to a teenager saying he wants to play football for my alma mater next year.

If you want to pop champagne, knock yourself out.
