Theres a reason I said wait until after signing day, a commit doesnt mean he will sign. But he is ranked 37th best corner in the country. This isn't like if he landed Surtain this past class. Im not saying hes not good but to act like this is a heck of a class after landing him when signing day is 6 months away is ridiculous. Sunshine pumping is not being objective.

I think you need to decide what your angle is going to be. There is nothing sad about posting about what is turning out to be a good recruiting class.
Next time you post something about a women’s tennis player or gymnast committing I’ll make sure & remind you how sad it is

I follow all LSU sports! I graduated from LSU too..
I post mainly on those two sports because I have connections with both programs and a lot of people like to hear updates. Its hard to gather info in those sports

Objectivity is pointing out there's a long way to go and a full season to play before signing day. It's not celebrating a verbal commit in June.
This is far from bad news, but it isn't anything special to praise Orgeron for.

This isn't true. YOU might not want him to fail, but there are definitely some that do.
Having said that, this is a great pickup by the staff, but I think you're right that it's a little off putting that people feel the need to hold it up as the symbol that Orgeron is a great coach. The only success we should be focused on is the success on the field in the fall. Recruiting will fall in place from there. And if the team shits the bed, then the class will likely suffer.

There's a difference between saying that there's a long way to go and insulting other posters and coaches and yes the kid signing is a Boom and should be acknowledged as such. 2019 is shaping up to be a good class.

I would understand the excitement if it was a Fournette type player or even a Patrick Peterson.
But, I would still be hesitant because these kids decommit all the damn time.
