I'm not sure there are many bad teams in the SEC this year. Maybe South Carolina and Mizzou?

Your not wrong. That freshman who started Saturday is a dude. If they can get their true ace back, that's a scary rotation

A bad defensive team can make the most average look really good on the scoreboard. The few times LSU wasn't walking batters/committing errors in the field, Vandy looked very beatable. Cowan shut them down, and it all revolved around getting ahead in the count. Same when LSU was at the plate, when Vandy couldn't throw a strike, LSU put a lot of runs on the board. It was a weekend of which the team that imploded the worst lost the game

They stink. Their pitching is worse than our. Say that out loud.

Vandy will do well to finish around .500 in SEC play. Better teams will handle them.

I expect Vandy and LSU to both be bottom half of the SEC. But my confidence level in that prediction is low.

They seem to have very good hitting and defense this weekend. Piching may be a problem.

They have 8 losses, obviously they’re not gonna be ranked. However, they have a lot of the same problems we do, plus injuries…. Like LSU, IF they figure it out, they will be dangerous

vandy ace isn't a typical vandy ace with mlb potential
he wasn't throwing all that hard, just very deceptive

they were missing a top arm that was out due to injury
the fr shoved on Sat, probably due to LSU not having enough tape to evaluate him enough

their sunday starter had an awful outing

from a pitching standpoint LSU should have easily won two of the games
