My cousin attended Florida around the time they had their run. She sat in the student section in Florida shite for a tebow game. She was treated okay but she's hot so idk how well a guy would be treated.

Simple answer - don't wear anything identifying you as a Bama fan and don't yell for Bama. Seriously.

Nah Man, They are all kidding. Dress up in full Bama gear and make sure to yell "Roll Tide!! after every 1st down. LSU students just love that kind of good-natured trash talking.
It will be the time of your life!

Just out of curiosity, but do the random LSU fans that get hit with drinks that missed the intended target not get pissed?

It would be quicker and less painful to cover yourself with meat and jump in Mike's cage.

I'm sure they'd just get mad at the Alabama fan for being the intended target.

With all due respect, you will regret it big time. If that was your only ticket in, go watch it at the varsity. Your life will be a living hell for 2 hours. I would almost throw myself into traffic before I would sit in the LSU student section as a bama fan.

After some Tigerbaiting as you enter the section I can't imagine it being bad at all unless you're obnoxious, or some really screwy shite happens in the 4th quarter.

I just don't see it being that bad, and there are always a small handful of visiting students in the SS and nothing bad ever happens. Maybe its worse in GA, but people seem to understand that everybody has a few friends scattered across the SEC and we like to share the games with each other when they come up on the schedule

Wear all Bama gear and think of it like prison, find the biggest dude and kick his arse. no one will mess with you after you send that message

Nope, not really. I've only seen 1 bad incident in the SS, and that was a guy getting a drink thrown at his head. That has been the exception and not the rule, and as big as next Saturday is going to be, there have been games just as big or bigger in the SS.

You really would need a student ID though, and there are no upgrades available for this game. I have a hard time believing a ticket taker is going to let you walk in in Bama stuff with an LSU ID, but there are always a few in there, so who knows.

ETA: The presumption is that you will be in there with a few LSU buddies, and that usually is enough to get everyone to pretty much leave visitors alone if they aren't a-holes starting shite themselves. If you act deaf to a little bit of heckling, and embrace the huge tigerbaiting you'll get as you walk out of the tunnel, it would probably be fine.

Don't be an arse and you will be fine inside the stadium. Just expect taunting and a few drinks thrown in your direction. It is outside the stadium where there is a concern. If Bama wins, keep your head down and move quickly to your car.
Have fun!

I agree with the previous poster. Your best bet, without a doubt, will be to wear something neutral and try your best to blend in. If anyone around you pins you as a bama fan your good night will be over.....quick.

Wasnt there a florida fan that sat in the student section a few years back that was almost beat to death after the game?

Its not bad for State Fans, ole miss lately and out of conference teams. However, bama, auburn, and florida fans not so much. Florida fans got treated like shite in the student section in the 90s some for the right reasons, but Bama is the new target. I would rather be in a Taliban prison camp than the LSU section as a bama fan.
