Florida and LSU both claim to be THE 'DBU,' but who really can own the nickname. In Gainesville, the answer seems quite obvious, but I feel the real answer is LSU.

So far this season, Florida is second in the SEC in pass efficiency defense and average yards allowed, while first in interceptions with 12 and third in touchdowns allowed. Meanwhile, LSU is sixth in all categories, only recording five picks so far this year. However The Gators have not faced an Offense this potent as it will at LSU Saturday night, expect huge problems for the Gators Defense.

The Tigers secondary, the group had one of its best games last Saturday against Utah State's talented quarterback, Jordan Love, LSU will thrive against a QB at the level of Kyle Trask who is a back-up at best.

USU’s Love was intercepted three times and was limited to just 130 yards through the air and I expect similar numbers by Trask on Saturday.

"Their secondary, they have great players in the back end," said wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland. "It's an SEC team. Nothing come easy at this time of the season. We're going into the second game, so you've just got to come in with your 'A' game, prepare the right way, watch film. Just the little details. I hope we don’t choke under the pressure"

One can argue that Grant Delpit is among the most versatile defensive backs, while freshman corner Derek Stingley is having quite the debut season for LSU. The first year Tiger leads the SEC and ranks third in country in passes defended with ten and will feast on 50/50 balls against Florida.

Stingley's 42 percent opponent completion rate leads the SEC which is not good for the Gators.

“He’s a great corner," said receiver Van Jefferson about Stingley. "He’s only a freshman but he looks like he’s been playing for a long time. We just have to be sound on our assignments, play our game. I hope we don’t go at him because we will be burned and burned bad if the coaches do want to try him"

"They are going to come out and play man-to-man, that’s what they do," added Josh Hammond. "Receivers in general, not just the slot, we’re just going to have to win our one-on-one battles and make the plays when we have the chance to but I’m not too confident in that plan. I think that’s the biggest thing for us. I think we’ll be prepared based on the corners that we have here at practice but I’m not really feeling too good about this game to be honest.

Up front, the Tigers also have a talented defensive line that should stop the Gator’s run game.

LSU is second in the SEC in rushing defense, while its 13 sacks is good enough for sixth in the SEC I would not be surprised to see LSU sack Trask 5-6 times in this game with the Gators only having one returning started on the O-Line from last year. It’s certainly a weak part of this team.

LSU’s defense was seeing a lot of criticism through the first few games, however, it appears the group had turned a corner against Utah State. In addition to the three picks, the Tigers held Utah State to 159 yards, which is over 400 yards less than its average (533) coming into the game. Expect the same against Florida who will struggle all night.

With LSU having such a lethal Offense and Florida’s Defense giving up 57% completion percentage against below average QB’s compared to Burrow, along with an injured back-up QB in Trask and a below average O-Line, I see this game being ugly. LSU 49 Florida 13.

Whether Fla can claim it or not is irrelevant, Its LSU's. Nationwide people relate DBU to the Tigers and it will continue to be that way until we perish at least. Life isnt always fair to reptiles. DBU is LSU. STTDB

The thing I am most concerned about is your pass rush. Burrow will find the open receiver against your talented secondary, he just needs a little time. If our o-line can block, I think we win. Not by the margin you have down but by 10-14 pts. If I'm wrong and we blow you guys out then great. If y'all beat us I'll just drink until it doesn't matter!

The games against y'all are usually tough no matter what year each team is having. I'm looking forward to it.

I'm glad you are open-minded and humble about this game. But that doesn't mean that I will feel one ounce of compassion for any Florida fan if this game is a blowout - you included. I still remember 58-3, Jeremy Foley, honoring your national championship baseball team at halftime of the UF-LSU game, Urban Meyer reinstating his thugs before the LSU game, Dwayne Schintzius and all the other fricking shite I hate about the University of Florida.
