TJ Ribs is a trick for visiting fans. LOADS of LSU memorabilia and old pics. Ribs are also choice. Should be one exit from you @ 2324 S Acadian Thruway.

Our fans love to be friendly to traveling fans. Wear your colors and you will be invited to many tailgates. People may yell Tiger Bait at you, even kids, but it is a friendly thing. You guys will be most welcome.

Ok yeah thought so. I also recommend as said above, TJ Ribs for a meal- especially since you're only 1 exit down.

You're also close to some stuff if you're going to be at the hotel and want to grab something...go right on Corporate leaving the hotel-Town Center, a bunch of stuff will come up on your phone.

If so, the blue is Nicholson (Hwy that runs right in front of Tiger Stadium-to downtown) Easiest way to get from downtown to LSU.

I would like to emphasize that you do NOT walk from Downtown to the Stadium. It looks walkable, and sort of is, but that is a very bad neighborhood you have to pass through and I would not recommend it. Once on campus, or on the East or South sides (West side is the River), you'll have no problems.

Just remember that if you stop by Bourbon Street and some black dude asks you where you got dem shoes...just keep walking before he takes your twenty dollars.

If you go this way, follow these directions leaving the Marriott, you will be at campus in no time, with very little traffic. It will be like you're going to your 1,000th game at LSU.

Get on I-10 West
Exit Acadian Thruway
Turn Left > name turns to Stanford
Take a right on West Lakeshore, keep going straight at the light by the Louisiana State University sign
You'll get to another light, keep straight
You'll run into Tiger Stadium
Turn Left into that lot to park
You'll see lots of spaces and RV's

This is the way the Pro's go.

Louie's Cafe. Go see Mike across from the baseball field. Drinking or grilling in the parking lot is acceptable.

If you plan on going to bars and are younger Fred's isn't bad, but Tigerland can get kinda sketchy. The Bulldog is a good spot if you're a little older. Enjoy the trip. Geaux Tigers.

Upscale dinner - Louisiana Lagniappe

Casual South Louisiana - Parrains (pah-rans) or Chimes. Chimes is also a great place to drink and chill at the bar

Go tail gate and wear your colors proud. You’ll enjoy your trip.
