This is stupid. Kid just had his true freshman year and actually played more then he should have. I wish he would have redshirted. He will be fine as he develops and will be our starter as an upperclassman one day.

And yes, QBs can develop over time. But across the country, young QBs play, and play very well.

Usually, but not always, if a QB has "it" he shows it very early.

The fact that Brennan was unable to beat out McMillan and Narcisse is alarming.

I agree.
I think we have to hope Burrow is the real deal. I think he is.
Hopefully Brennan and Narcisse will come around.

Not saying that they are flops, but anyone expecting either to come in and light it up this coming season were kidding themselves.

So, two weeks ago people here were predicting 6 losses due to the QB situation.
no one who believed in Brennan would have predicted that

If the O-Line does not step up, it won't matter whose a QB.

Give him 20 lbs and he still might. He's got loads of talent, just needs loads of cheeseburgers.

I think people see young quarterbacks succeed all over the landscape of college football and expect that one of these two highly recruited guys would be developed by the coaching staff. If that doesn't happen, then it just feeds more of the narrative about the coaches. It's tough to say whether they just need time to develop or the coaches aren't getting them prepared properly. We aren't at practice, so I'm not really prepared to give an educated opinion.

Yes.
And what negatigers tend to forget about are the Felipe Franks of college football.

He passed them both up last year after being on campus for a couple weeks. Of course, we also had a competent OC that could develop QB’s last year.

If you really think that LN and JM are ahead of MB in the depth chart at this moment you are more delusional than I thought... Brennan is #1 and Burrow will have to knock him off the pedestal! I don’t give a damn what is being said on the web. You better believe it!!!
