LSU is a joke when it comes to developing a QB. And fans are an even bigger joke with the “the backup QB is the best QB on the roster” shite.

Didn't Brennan, Nacisse, and McMillan have statistics, in the Spring Game, similar to the two Ohio State Quarterbacks that were given the starting job.

He might still do that. If he wins the starting job this year, great. If he sits another year, learns and bulks up, great. I think he is in the perfect spot.

Most of us are still very excited to have Brennan and Narcisse on hand, as well as McMillen. What we need is separation to determine the starter, and with addition of Burrow it will happen, with Burrow probably winning the starting job.

I still think Brennan can be great. His ceiling may be higher than Burrows. But He has to put on some weight, and work on his athleticism. It’s not like he is rail thin and cat quick. He isn’t a statue but needs to add some good strength and size. With his speed he will be taking a few licks in the SEC.

Yeah if Brennan won the job, I'd expect opposing coaches to instruct their defense to hit him on every play.
He really needs at least 15 pounds of bulk, good bulk. And it looks like he's "blessed" with a fast metabolism. Even at my age, I'm still kind of like that. I weigh about what I did when I graduated high school, and I was a bean pole then.

I too was a part of the: holy shite, he's gotta be better than what we've had club.
That said, I hope he stays but think he ends up going. I also think Narcisse stays and becomes a more accurate passer.
Sucks that we lost Lindsey Scott. He could have really been something special. I'm rooting for him at Mizzou.

I was excited until I saw he got shut down by a pretty good Brother Martin team his senior year leading me to believe the MS high school competition he faced was not the stiff.
