Sadly if this were to happen to any school, the majority reaction would be based on how successful that coach is

Well if he is scoring with Golden Girl, some ppl would say that's pretty successful...

Depends on whether the coach in question is in a position of authority over said Golden Girl.

Exactly how did you mean that?

There needs to be a wall between those in authority and students at the university. These are also grown people, however. Does the head football coach have any control over the Golden Girls? If so, then the policies should be clear (if not already) that there can be no relationships that cross those lines. Otherwise the whole system becomes suspect. (Probably A.)

If the HFBC has no authority or involvement with the booster organizations (Band, Flags - I know they don't over ROTC - Golden Girls, Cheerleaders, etc.) then:

If Candy Edwards was a student, then yes.

i would hope that there is some sort of 'morals' clause in the contract of most college football coaches.

so we hold our coaches to higher moral standards than the Pres. of the U.S.?? Amazing

A. Fire the coach immediately, inexcusable.

B. Who cares? What does this have to do with (insert sport)?

C. It's not good for LSU's image, but the coach shouldn't be fired over it.

I think a person's sex life is their business and nobody else's. In the scenario you describe, I would fire Les Miles, even if he wasn't the coach having the affair, and leave all our other head coaches alone.
