ESPN thanks you for the free advertisement of their favorite CBB program as well as one of their TV personalities.

It isn't ESPN's job to promote LSU. The sooner you can accept that and quit watching their programming outside of sporting events, you will be miserable.

Dick wants us all to know that we are all dumb because Wade was caught on a wire. He heard the tapes and he knows for a fact that Wade paid players. Joe just did what he had to do. Oh and he also wants all of us backwards swamp people to know that his book is on sale for $19.95 and all the proceeds go to charity.

They aren't denigrating the sport. They are denigrating the program(s) that won't garner them ratings. They promote Duke and Zion the same way they promote LeBron.

Same reason why ESPN will rarely show you MLB games of teams outside of Boston, LA, and NY. Yeah, it helps them, but what good would it do to show the Brewers?

What I find odd is that most "experts" admit CBB has the dirtiest recruiting scene.

Then we watch the same 5-7 schools gobble up the majority of the nation's elite prospects.

These schools rarely catch heat from the same experts.
