I'm a bit confused by this... I thought she wanted to go to law school? TCU has a pre-law society, but no law school.

Wonder how many turnovers she'll have next season.

Her assist + steals ratio to turnovers was right at 2 to 1 which is good
why are you including steals in the formula? To make her number look better?

The standard formula is assists to turnovers.

HVL's assist to TO ratio this year was 1.4. That's not good.

Great person, excellent team player, limited basketball skills.

I haven't followed her career that closely. Having said that, her "limited basketball skills" got her on a USA basketball team and the transfer ratings I saw, she and Morrow were rated the #1 and #2 girls in the transfer portal last year. I will say she has some flaws in her overall game that can be exploited but everyone has some issues. If I remember right, Caitlin Clark had 5 turnovers in the S Carolina game for example.

Because adding steals in makes perfect sense. A turnover gives the other team the ball. A steal gives your team the ball. So yeah, if you are going to penalize someone for losing the ball, common sense tells you that to be fair, getting a possession that wasn't yours should obviously count also. Does it make the numbers look better...of course it does, but I did it because I'm trying to be fair about it.

School? You think they transfer to go to school? Curriculum is irrelevant,

maybe it makes sense, but you're unilaterally revising the formula to something that no one uses.

Assist to turnover ratio is the standard stat, and has been for many decades. You can't just add other numbers to juice the numbers, whether for HVL or anyone else.

HVL's assist to TO ratio was 1.38.

Correct! And who is making the post....my userid is on it,...notice it is not "EPSN" or whatever. Once again, I'm using the stats that make sense. Don't really care what other people use. Facilitating a score (assist) or adding a possession (steal) are both positives. Turnovers are obviously a negative.

Curriculum is "irrelevant"? She got her undergrad degree in 3 years & was finishing up her MBA in less than 1 year at LSU.
