Weren't they the team who had so many injuries last season they had to have open tryouts?

I was actually kind of looking forward to LSU playing against HVL had she chosen Miss St.

Elated for her. I hope she knocks it out of the park and gets picked No. 1 next year in the WNBA draft. Thanks for coming to LSU!

I wish her luck.. doubt she will stay pro long if at all.. AM was picked and cut before season and now a globetrotter.. just so few spots for them… but she is smart and will have a good career after bball.. still hoping she goes into coaching path and ends up back at LSU. …..TCU is a nice place…

I didn't see a lot of hate. I saw accurate descriptions of her play, which is fair for a D1 athlete, male or female. Maybe you saw different things than I - I never saw it get personal.

Your key word is "accurate". I would dispute that. Some posters acted like she was a turnover machine when she was not. Her assist + steals ratio to turnovers was right at 2 to 1 which is good. The "accurate" knocks against her were her inability to stop some guards from breezing by her and also her lack of being able to drive past them.
One of the commenters on Twitter was obviously ignorant of her strengths/weaknesses. That poster said it was great to get someone who "can create their own shot". The last thing HVL could do was to create her own shot. She couldn't drive to the basket and couldn't shoot off the dribble. The shots she made I remember were spot up ones aided by passes and screens. Also, a lot of her points were made at the charity stripe where she was lights out at 83%,
