Joe is better than them though

They would have to believe that they were more deserving of the Heisman than Joe so...
I dont think that is true at all. Players tend to be a lot less objective about their abilities than we are. We all know Joe had a historic season and should win the Heisman in a landslide but they probably dont feel that way. That competitive nature got them all to this point.

I’m 2005 Vince Young was the best player on CFB and he went out and proved it.
The main difference this year is that Joe Burrow has been the best player.
Fields won’t be getting screwed when he doesn’t win it.
Everyone already knows Burrow is going to win so it’s not going to be any type of surprise.

Do you not think Vince Young was more motivated for the BCS title against USC/Leinart? Dont you think LBJ was more motivated when they played the Warriors in the 2016 Finals and Steph had just won unanimous MVP and everyone was saying he was now the best in the league? Players want to win rings yes but they also want to be recognized at the best in their craft. You cant tell me it wont burn them a bit to see Burrow take the Trophy Saturday (which I reiterate he unquestionably deserves to do.)
What about joes extra motivation because ohio state basically said he wasnt good enough to play there?

One does not get to that level of football, much less invited to the HEISMAN ceremony, without already having incredible competitiveness.

The list of teams, players and units that feel disrespected by the accolades of this team continues to grow.
Take a number, get in line and wait for your beating!

It’s more than that. Each of these coaches and players have recently self-proclaimed that they are the best in college football:
Ryan Day - says he deserves coach of the year
Jeff Hafley - says he deserved the Broyles award over’boy wonder’ Brady
Chase Young - says he is the most dominant player and even suspended should win
JK Dobbins - says he is the best running back and deserves the Heisman
Justin Fields - says he is the best college football player and deserves it as well
At first I thought, don’t any of these guys talk to each other? That’s not it though. You can clearly see how lack of humility trickles down straight from the top.

Honestly, I don't think Joe is exceptionally focused on these individual awards. I could see him say thanks, let's get on the plane back to B.R. and get ready for this game.

LSU is playing for vengeance against Hurts for sure.

I think the thing to remember here is that while we have the best player in football... Our opponents have the runners up. So we are going against serious star power in all these games. We should go in with the same excitement and tension as we did vs Bama.

I challenge you to find anything, anywhere where this was actually stated by either.

Ther is much respect for eqach other by these players and they know their play speaks for itself and the voters will exercise their right o choose. Burro wwill likely win by such a large margin that no one can reasonably take issue .
