Looks like it will be a Cat 2 when it makes landfall. I don't expect much. *pm game nite it will be over cuba, and still a TS. It should have little/no effect on the game.

hopefully it won't. people down here are starting to freak out already though. if they start contraflow i could definitely see that stopping the game

Not to complain as Gustave may really screw up peoples lives, but I really feel like Gustav has kicked me in the nuts already. I, like many have been looking forward to the game forever. I've been overseas for the last 4 seasons, finally back on LA, have my bro flying in, planning a great tailgate and now a damn hurricane. Likely my bro won't make it as his flight leaves NO on Sunday afternoon and he has be be back Monday morning. That freakin blows. F U Gustav you Nazi POS.

Well, considering Jindal has already said that starting Contra-Flow on Saturday is a possibility, it is a distinct possibility this game could be postponed.

The game will take place. At what time is still being discussed. LSU Athletic officials are now considering a noon start ahead of the hurricane so that fans can be out of the game in time to leave town. And LSU is a major evacuation center if the order to evacuate New Orleans is given. It is not a definite yet, but ESPN has already given their blessing for a noon start time. Don't be surprised.
