LSU or the SEC is going to frick this up somehow. They'll be "blindsided" by the hurricane bearing down on Louisiana and not have enough time to make adjustments.

100% this. This game is critical for Myles' and the rest of our young team's development.

This is one that fall into the 20/80 rule.

I don't think it's a stretch to say that missing this game could have impacts that run into the 2021 season. As it stands right now, their confidence is up after destroying the easiest team on the schedule. They need another one of those before going into the Swamp, even with limited attendance.

You have to play this game.

I would think logistics would be workable since this stadium sits mostly unused most weeks. They do play some high school games there but that shouldn't cause an issue. Having little/no fans certainly help with any "late stage" venue changes.

Agree. It sucks to not play in BR but moving the game to Mizzou is smart. It will also be a similar environment to Vandy. Maybe a few more fans.

Have to play this game for improvement.

Yeah, better to play away than miss a week going into UF.

I don't see how we'd be able to play a game 16 hrs after land fall of a Cat 2 with the eye forecasting to roll right over the stadium. Too many LSP and other officials will be tied up in hurricane response, plus with COVID its not that big a deal to lose a game at home.

When I saw the hurricane forecast this morning I came to the conclusion that there is no way the game is being played in Baton Rouge. They need to make arrangements today to move it to Missouri or a neutral site. I don't want to cancel an SEC game in which we are 18 point favorites.

Play in Missouri with no fans. That makes the logistics of pulling this off super simple.

I’m in agreement with the majority...move the game to Mizzou and call it a day. Not a big deal.

We need to play this game this weekend. We don’t want this game cancelled or postponed. Just move it to Mizzou.

If rabalais is right and the SEC is giving push back to not change game location bc of their "carefully crafted" schedule, then thats just fricking stupid.

Play it in mizzou with no god damn people in the stands so the game gets played still.

They definitely need to make a decision soon, no later than tomorrow afternoon. Move the game to Mizzou, change the time if you have to in order to get it in, but with the current storm track, the game isn't happening in Baton Rouge.

The "carefully crafted" schedule reason is bullshite, play the fricking game.

There is only one logical thing to do, and that is move the game to Missouri.

LSU officials said they are monitoring the system, along with the SEC office. Though moving the game to Missouri seems like a viable option, sources tell Geaux247 that pulling the resources on such short notice with so many local resources focused on COVID-19 presents some logistical issues. LSU and Missouri share the same bye week on the first Saturday in November, so rescheduling to that weekend is also a possibility.

That’s a quote from Sonny Shipp. I don’t get all the logistics talk. Say no fans. It’s not that difficult.

That would mean playing 8 straight weeks and no bye before bama. Honestly, if i was the team i'd probably rather just go beat them in missouri this weekend.
