The problem is that McMahon doesn't inspire donirs to open their pocket books. He is a lower quintile sec coach. He has wasted donor money on poorly constructed rosters. He does less with more. Being that lsu and donors seem to nit prioritize men's bb, we need a coach that can do more with less.
Since Wade isn't coming back, we will either suffer more poor results with McMahon, go try to find a diamond in the rough with another mid major hopful, or go get a winner from another power 5 school. Woodward and donors will make that decision.

I asked for a received a fairly credible reason why LSU would lie about an increase in money. it seemed imaginable that LSU lied. it also seemed imaginable that they were not lying and more money was coming and could help.
i mean if our own incredulity is what we are arguing with here, might as well be unable to imagine LSU is lying

he has the worst shot I've seen since Angel Reece, and those two are the worst I've ever seen at LSU.
Don't argue with that absolute loser. Chest single handedly lost one game, I believe it was OM. Had it won....he misses an easy dunk that would have likely put the game away, then has another opportunity at FTs and air balls....then gets upset and draws a technical...all over a 2 minute span...allowing OM to get back in the game. That was the typical offensive game. Also, that nut job bragging about good stats against Alabama....EVERYBODY has good stats offensively against bama....they speed up play, getting many more possessions, and don't play much defense, or didn't for most of the year.

McMahon huggers blame everyone except the head coach. McMahon should have already been fired. That is the bottom line.

Let's put Madcuck, Alt, Saint22, and Adam on retainer. Could get them on the cheap, get mad out of his mother's basement, and they clearly understand what it takes to construct a competitive basketball team in the SEC. They have all the answers, have inside knowledge of our basketball team and athletic department, and understand all the behind the scenes things that are going on. As clearly as they value their own opinions (this new generation is hardworking, intelligent, efficient, and NOT entitled, and has great work ethic), I am 100% confident they know more about basketball than MM or anyone in LSU's athletic department. Seriously, throw them $25K each, and let them build our team for next year. We would minimum be middle of pack if not better in one year.....I'm all in.

So here is my opinion why keeping guys like chest is crucial. Let’s say for the sake of argument that your right and chest is garbage. At the very least you get bench players and DEPTH. Depth is a huge reason teams like Michigan state are successful this year. If this NIL theory would happen to hit, at most ya being in 4-5 players, I may be wrong but I’ve never heard of a coach bringing in 8-9 quality players from the portal. So now let’s just say we get the 4-5 quality players, you gonna need some depth so keeping players like cheat does have an upside.Even if ya believe his offense is trash, that’s ok, you need scrappy energy guys, every team has them. It’s rare ya gonna have 5 guys on the court who can all score.

Because we have limited financial resources and 3 other big men on the roster who will probably get minutes (and paid) before him. We're going to have to drop some bags to get the scorers we need.

He can raise funds. Which is another reason the NIL Narrative loses steam fairly quickly. At a school like LSU where men's basketball is a step-child the mens coach has to be the main fund raiser.....we're not Kentucky or Kansas or Duke where there are huge coffers of money waiting to be used as needed for basketball. Money has to be actively raised in real time.
So if lack of NIL funding is the issue, CMM is complicit in that.

Tell Auburn basketball a large NIL budget doesn’t matter……they spend almost $9 million on their roster.
