If true, that's a massive blow for the secondary which was already paper thin. Not one of the four portal guys are available anymore.

Army decided to call a time out with 6 seconds before half instead of just letting it run out. Hail Mary was picked and he got popped on the return. Totally unnecessary on every facet. Really sucks

Yeah it sucks but it also tells you LSU needs to do a better job of getting the right players here to fill those spots quit taking chances on guys from smaller colleges or guys with attitudes. Get out there like LSU used to do and bring in some stud recruits! Cant get lazy and cheap on top talent at the db spots. The previous staff didnt leave much but the 2 years kelly has had to fill those spots he has not done a good job of bringing in top notch Talent. This is LSU we should never be this bad in the secondary especially with the talent in the state.

I told y’all this last night and got downvoted by all.

I have eyes. I watched the trainers work on him. I told y’all it was a knee and he was done for the year.

Anyone know who calls the signals for the DBs?

It's very rarely an outside CB. Probably Burns

I saw him plant his foot to cut back while those guys were tackling him. The trainers were doing the Anterior Drawer Test on his knee while he was laying on the field. This is what I was worried about. Sad for him and it’s going to be rough for the team going forward. Those freshmen better get ready.

It’s sad when we have to worry this much that, for all Zy Alexander has done this year being the only constant on the field, that our transfers from SELU has a season ending injury. Hopefully he’s back next year in good health along with JK Johnson and the freshmen we bring in our recruiting class starts to turn it around. I have no doubts that if both were healthy, JK Johnson and Zy Alexander would be the starting corners on this team.

Now people are saying zy is a massive blow after shutting on him

He has been the most consistent corner. He is usually is position to make a play. He shouldn't be cb1 at lsu but it is what it is.

How do you derive this from him getting injured?

I still don't understand why he didn't slide after making the INT. I can understand not knocking it down like normal, because it was such a horrid pass. But, the players have to know to take a knee or slide down in that situation.
