Blue was easily the best RB who touched the ball last year
I agree. He and Hillard would be a good combination. They're a little different from each other and would be a good mix.

I would definately create a set with Magee as a Wildcat QB, Ford next to him and have Blue in the slot to come in motion. This would create another set for the D's to game plan against, you get 3 good RB's in the game and it's easy to throw together + Magee can throw the ball if you want to.
I would also have Blue as a slot reciever and that would create a mismatch opportunity against a LB in the passing game. I would also have Blue as the lone back and motion him out to an open side and have him outside as the #1 WR just like what the saints did with Reggie Bush... Then you can do whatever you want from there!
Someone earlier said they would have multiple 2 RB sets and I agree with that idea, put Hilliard or Ware at Fullback and their good/big enough to block and can come out the backfield for play action passes as well. These could be easy things we could do to get our playmakers in the game and not have them wasting away on the sidelines. I like that Diamond set too but I doubt we would ever get in that.

Call me crazy but I think an unbalanced T formation would work very well. It is a T formation (FB behind the QB with a RB on both sides of the FB), but an end and tackle left of center, while to the right of the center are two guards a tackle and an end. This creates a line that is weighted toward the right of the center. This Formation works because teams already know we are running it at them, so why don't we smash it down their throats. All you need to run this formation is blocking TEs, mobile Gs, a hard hitting FB, and two RBs that can block like FBs yet run like HBs. I think we have the personel to run this very well.
I think we have too much talent to be running the same I formation 50 times a game, yes it worked but I still think we can do better.
Just saying.

fournette from st aug that is in the 2014 class
This introduces a new concern. If Fournette is as good as advertised (5*?), then it sort of behooves Les to start moving away from the "committee approach." Else, don't be surprised if the Bama appeal (Ingram - Heisman and 1st rd pick and Trent - likely 1st rd pick) gets a big hearing vs the committee approach we have.

Sure he ran great against WKU and on teams late in the game during blowouts..

There is a real logjam of talent there.
I see it as a wellspring.

When you find out an efficient way to do it, please e-mail your suggestions to the coaching staff.
