the current coaching staff for that time period?

2014 - was 8-5, 4-4
2015 - was 9-3, 5-3
2016 - was 8-4, 5-3
2017 - was 9-4, 6-2

Some of it is venting and some of it is "constructive" criticism. Give fans a platform to be heard.

I don't see how creating a post about something that never happened fits.

Maybe it's venting?

Point is to get a feel from TD if the program is taking a large step forward, large step back, med step forward, med step back, small step forward, small step back or staying the same.

There's no way of knowing that based on the OP. These are all past assumptions. Their record might have been worst, it might have been better. There's no way of knowing.

Here's another past assumption: What if Saban, Dabo, and Urban all stopped coaching CFB?

LSU would still not be competing for championships with its current coaching staff.

Correct there is no way of knowing what would have been, but we can find out from the question what Ranters think of the current direction of the program....which again is the point.

About the same. Maybe we have 1 more 10 win season and/or one of those 9 win seasons is only an 8 win season.

The answer you provided for your own question is skewed. Why do you assume LSU would have won or loss that many games.

I get what you're trying to do, but I would ask the question based on tangible evidence. Not past assumptions.

But if you're venting, please disregard.

Ok. I thought you were providing what you thought their record would be.

To answer your question - I don't know.

You’re using a hypothetical to spark debate on something that can’t be proven until the season plays out. You’re a special kind of stupid

I'll play this game.

2014 - worse
2015 - worse
2016 - the same
2017 - perhaps the same, perhaps one game worse

Coach o hasn't proven he can field a team that can consistently beat teams with a pulse, other than 2016 Louisville, which ended the 2016 season with a 3 game losing streak, and 2017 Auburn.

All I know is, we should have beaten Wisconsin that day.

Same with Florida under CoachO.
