Fine, unless he gets up at the press conference and says we tried but we finished second.

Do not like any loss for Tigers. That said, I have come see a lot more depth and understanding in Coach O than before. Not so sure he wouldn't be a good choice for HC.

I'm good. I was a fan in the early 90s.

Deep dichotomy but I take a loss from O better than a loss from Les. LSU'16-A has a "Want". Coach O has a "give a shite" factor about him.

Depends how we lose and to who. Did we get fricked by the refs or blown out?

Hopefully in ten years when this happens, I will be able to take it better than the last 5 years.

With a grain of salt because he will lose a game, I know that and I'm an adult.

If it happens five years down the line, I think I can handle it.

just dont think he's the long term answer
If he runs the table this year, why not? What do you think would be a more reliable indicator of a coach's potential for success at LSU? Going to a good bowl somewhere else or winning a NC at LSU?

You'd rather roll the dice on a Herman rather than go with an known quantity? It's an ideal situation. We get to test drive O for almost an entire year before making a commitment. Just because he's familiar should not automatically disqualify him. Hold him to the same standard based on current performance as you would anyone else. If Herman had come in after 4 games, what would you expect from him? If O produces, he's earned his spot.

It's also pretty safe to assume that recruiting will not be an issue for O.

He truly believe if he doesn't get the head coaching job he will leave which is why I didn't really want him to be interim but also believe he will do a good job if becomes the HC. Just from what I've seen so far I like that he's not trying to control everything and also know he will go all out on recruiting. My believe is with what he has learned and with a good OC he can be very successful here
